#THEBOOKTHIEF: NEW POSTER. LIESEL AND HANS.It’s been a long time since I revisited this moment in the pages of The Book Thief. It was one of the very few times when the words were just there - I only had to be quick enough to write them down:Smoke was rising out of Liesel’s collar.A necklace of sweat had formed around her throat.Beneath her shirt, a book was eating her up.I also have to admit, it’s a luxury I’m finding easy to get used to. For a decade I’ve had to conjure these images from words and pages, or somewhere far inside me. Now they show me this, and it’s almost too beautiful, too fast.

It didn’t matter. The only thing that mattered was that they had Gendry.
For those who have never heard J.R.R. Tolkien sing, voilà!
“That’s what Bilbo Baggins hates!” sung by the legend himself.
Coming Soon: NEW PAPERBACK, USA.Just over a month away, on October 15, this new paperback of #TheBookThief will be out in America, pretty much seven-and-a-half years after the original domino image was first released. I remember with that first cover, people often asked me about those dominoes, and what did they mean?I told them the answer was on p.407: the start of Part Eight. This time I wonder what Liesel’s looking at, at which exact moment, in which particular scene.
I love them ^^
‘“The Book Thief” movie posters I have made for school as my final work. I hope you like them as well and if any of you found a second of your time to say what you think (positive or not) I would appreciate it greatly! :)
“So you failed. Alright you really failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You think I care about that? I do understand. You wanna be really great? Then have the courage to fail big and stick around. Make them wonder why you’re still smiling.”
- Claire Colburn
“What are we holding on to, Sam?”
“That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.”
